The kennel recently changed ownership - June 20th, 2009. We will continue Barb's tradition of excellent care of pets left in the care of the kennels. As part of the change in ownership, the website is under reconstruction. Please check it out as progress is made! Some of our new services now being offered are Do It Yourself Pet Grooming and full service grooming. Please book appointments for use of the bath tub, dryers and grooming table by calling 482-1500 between 9 to 10 a.m. a week prior to your desired date. We also offer nail clipping, bathing and clippering dogs by appointment. If you are vacationing in the area and wish to come over during the day to walk or play with your pet, please make arrangements to do so when checking in to the kennel.
We would appreciate if customers do not use our private laneway off Porter's Hill Line as some days it is barely passable and some cars have almost got stuck in the ruts, mud and snow. You can enter our kennel property off the Tower Line side road.
There is plenty of parking room for turning large vehicles around to exit. Some customers of K-9/Kitty Kennels have submitted comments about their experience with
